Laura Miller

Laura is thrilled to join Prowse Chowne for her first year as a Summer Student. With a rich background in opera, Laura has honed her skills in collaborative and team environments, both as a performer and teacher. Her teaching experience spans across all age groups, allowing her to tailor lessons to the unique needs and abilities of each student.

Before embarking on her law degree at the University of Alberta, Laura worked as a legal assistant focusing on insurance defence files. This role solidified her decision to pursue a legal career, with a keen interest in general litigation. Known for her creative problem-solving abilities, Laura has become an effective communicator through her diverse experiences.

Despite her busy schedule, Laura remains passionate about performing and actively participates in the university’s Law Show. She loves the outdoors and often borrows dogs to accompany her on her walks.
