Ryan is a partner in the litigation department at Prowse Chowne LLP. He specializes in employment law, estate litigation and general litigation. Ryan seeks to provide outstanding service to his clients and to offer clear, effective solutions.
Ryan was lead counsel on an interesting case about procedural fairness, where he represented three municipal councillors who had been terminated by the provincial government and were reinstated in Buryn v Alberta.
Outside of work he is a big sports fan, especially of the hometown Edmonton Oilers.
Areas of Practice
Ryan was exceptional. We had an unusual situation with former friends living in our home, and no other lawyers were knowledgeable enough to help us since it wasn’t clear if the RTA applied. Ryan was professional and communicative. He helped us wrap up a messy situation quickly and efficiently. I would absolutely recommend him for any issues involving tenants or rentals.
